Facelift II
We differentiate between the following 4 types of facelifts (all performed utilizing the SMAS technique):
- Upper / center / bottom facelift: temples, cheeks, neck
- Center / bottom facelift: cheeks, neck
- Mini lift: cheeks only
- Neck lift: neck only
Procedure
The procedure takes anywhere from 2-3 hours and can be performed either under local anesthesia while the patient is in a state of half sleep or under full anesthesia. An overnight stay at the clinic is required. After 2 days, the patient is allowed to wash her/his hair. The stitches in front of the ear are removed one week after surgery, those behind the ear 2 weeks after the procedure.
