Competency and Safety

Dr. Hofheinz , MD is the clinical director of the Klinik am Rhein. Prior to this assignment he was the executive physician at the Clinic for Plastic Surgery of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie in Düsseldorf.

After completing his studies in Germany and the United States he began his medical career in 1992 at the Surgical University Clinic in Mannheim, transitioning to plastic surgery in Düsseldorf in 1998, a field he has been committed to ever since.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hofheinz made numerous key note speeches and presentations in front of domestic and international groups of experts and is the author of many scientific publications.

Dr. Hofheinz is a vested member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgeons (Deutsche Gesellschaft der Plastischen, Rekonstruktiven und Ästhetischen Chirurgen – DGPRÄC, formerly VDPC).
